The explosive was on a parked motorcycle
(ANSA) – ISLAMABAD, 08 AUG – At least two policemen were killed and another 18 people, 12 officers and 6 civilians, were injured in a powerful explosion that took place Sunday evening in Quetta, capital of the southwestern province of Balochistan.
The target of the explosion near the Serena Hotel was a police van, said Liaqat Shahwani, a spokesman for the Balochistan government. “There were 15 policemen in the van at the time of the attack” and, according to Shahwani, the explosives were placed inside a parked motorcycle. Law enforcement officers have started a search for those responsible in the area. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. (HANDLE).
